Estimation Engineer, Weatherford, EPC Oil and Gas

1. To make assessment of customer requirements and, with assistance from PPWS Engineering team, identify potential solutions to be offered by the company, both for the products for which the incumbent is directly responsible and other product lines where required.

2. To co-ordinate with the engineering team to develop required equipment designs / specifications are required for the tender.

3. Co-ordinate with commercial and legal teams and ensure tender adequately covers comments and requirements of these departments.

4. Responsible for preparation of technical and commercial tender documentation, with assistance from PPWS Engineering and Commercial teams where required.

5. Possesses working knowledge of the processes or equipment offered by the company, possesses a broad understanding of the design/selection methods and calculations necessary to design or select the appropriate solution, and is capable of utilizing the various computer-assisted methods of performing the related tasks

6. Possesses working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of Oil separation, natural gas treating, compression, and hydrocarbon processing, which make up the PPWS product family.

7. To obtain cost estimates and pricing from sub-vendors and internal departments as required compiling and preparing tender cost estimate (BSA). 

8. Liaise with Commercial Manager to finalize pricing structure.

9. Constructs the appropriate technical and commercial reports and quotations utilizing Microsoft Windows-based computer tools.

10. Participates in the tracking of the company’s outstanding tenders/proposals to allow accurate reporting of status to management.

11. Fully proficient in the skills required to perform all position functions, and the overall creativity needed in the position.

12. Supporting role during bid clarification meeting and other technical/commercial client discussions
