Scheduler / Schedule Coordinator:

  • Involved in revising L3 level of EPC project schedule in primavera P6 based on the contractual milestones. Revising WBS, Activity Codes & sequencing of activity as per the present site condition and material delivery status.
  • Preparing mitigation plans for the milestones deviating from the contractual milestones.
  • Maintaining and actualising EPC project schedule in primavera P6 on monthly basis to analyse the future targets and the critical path.

Project Planning / Site Planning:

  • Prepared L1 and L2 level of schedule for Internal, External/Owner & Lender using Primavera P6 project planning software.
  • Actualised L2 schedule on monthly basis to analyse the future targets and the critical path.   
  • Prepared L3 level schedule of main BTG package in primavera for site execution.
  • Prepared, maintained and updated Internal/external schedules & S-curves on monthly/weekly basis, raising alarm for critical activities and milestones, making of MIS and Primavera systems generated reports.
  • Planning for critical machineries for construction phase and planning for manpower deployment in Engineering, procurement & project management functionalities and optimization of resources with Primavera.
  • Prepared, maintained and update BTG material delivery schedule to match with the erection sequence and the front availability at site.

  • Finalised site enabling and early work plot plan.
  • Generated floated, tender documents for various site enabling packages and evaluated technically most competent contractor, through transparent tender evaluation process.

 

Project Development:

  • Finalised the scope documents such as Gas pipeline, Coal logistic and Barge operation.
  • Evaluated feasibility reports to get the most feasible & economical option for Gas Pipeline, Coal logistics and Barge operation.

 

Engineering:

  • Reviewed and finalised specification submitted by the consultant.
  • Reviewed and finalised the Drawing made by consultant for site execution.
  • Reviewed and Prepared BOQ for various packages.
  • Prepared NIT document and arranged pre bid clarification with the vendor.
  • Evaluated offers for the package handled & Prepared Technical Evaluation report.
  • Reviewed drawings/documents after vendor finalisation and follow-ups with the vendor during detail engineering.

Project 1:         4000 MW Qurayyah Independent Power Project, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Features:          2x2x1, 6Block, 4000 MW Qurayyah Independent Power Project for Saudi Electric Company. It is the biggest combined cycle IPP in the world. The total project value amounts to 2.85 billion USD.

Owner:             Hajr Electricity Production Company. (Wholly owned subsidiary of Acwa Power International)

Client:              Saudi Electricity Company

Description:     Working as a Scheduler in project control team. I am responsible for maintaining, updating EPC schedule (Primavera P6) on monthly basis. Involved in revising the L3 level EPC project schedule (Revising WBS, Activity coding & Detailing of activity). Analysis of schedule and generating primavera system generated reports like Critical path, Three Months Look Ahead, Four Weeks Look Ahead schedule. Raising alarm to site construction team for the activities on the critical path. Single point responsibility for handling weekly progress review meetings from schedule team. Resolving owner’s queries and generating mitigation plan for delayed activities. Preparing slipped activity log and the catch up plan with proper analysis on overall schedule impact for delays on monthly basis. Resolving schedule related issues for Monthly Progress Review Meetings.

Project 2:         2 x 300 MW Thermal Power Plant, Botiburi - Maharashtra.

Features:         A largest Group Captive Power Plant in India of capacity 2x300 MW, based at Butibori near Nagpur Maharashtra. The total project value amounts to Rs 2630.00 Crores.

Client:              Vidharbha Industrial Power Limited, Nagpur. (Reliance ADA Group of Companies)

Description:     Part of Project Planning Group, Responsible for preparation, actualisation of L1 & L2 level of schedule for Internal, External/Client and Lender. I am responsible for preparation of L3 level of execution schedule for all the packages like BTG proper, ESP, ID, FD, PA and all the associated BTG auxiliaries. Daily and weekly monitoring of BTG package, making of catch up plans, Delay analysis, critical issues, front availability, resource planning, critical path. I am also responsible for making presentations for top management on weekly & fortnightly basis, Weekly meetings with the contractors.

 

 

Project 3:         4000 MW Shahapur Power Project, Shahapur – Maharashtra.

(November 07 to December 08).

Features:         2X600 MW Coal based and 2800 MW Gas based Power project based at Shahapur near Alibagh, Maharashtra.

Client:              Maharashtra Energy Generation Ltd. (Holy owned subsidy of Reliance Power)

Description:     Worked as a part of Engineering & Project Management Group, handled the site enabling packages like construction power, Construction office, Batching Plant, Boundary wall etc. Responsible for scope finalization, technical evaluation of coal logistic and Gas pipeline feasibility study. I was also involved in EPC bid evaluation for 2X600MW coal based units.

 

Project 4:         Flue Gas Desulphurization Project for 2X250MW DTPS, Dahanu - MH.

(July 06 to November 07)

Features:         Flue gas desulphurisation project to reduce the So2 emission for 2X250MW DTPS. It is one of its kinds of technology in India with overall efficiency of 96%. The total project value amounts to Rs 250 Crores.

Client:              Dahanu Power Generation Ltd. (Holy owned subsidiary of Reliance Infrastructure)

Description:     Worked as a Part of Engineering Group, handled the packages like Miscellaneous piping, Miscellaneous pump, Rubber expansion bellow, Rubber hoses & Hoist. I was also responsible for making weekly engineering progress reports and monthly MIS.

I was also involved in techno commercial evolution of Ash brick, Ash grinding Mill and various options of ash utilization for Dahanu Thermal Power Plant.
