- record, control, estimate, monitor and analyze the costs for the construction projects
- responsible for the development and implementation of project cost standards and procedures
- responsible for implementing a standard costing structure and insure that the project adheres to this standard
- prepare and follow-up the project cost and periodic forecast
- allocate all direct costs to proper cost center or project
- distribute and divide indirect cost and administration costs between cost centers and projects.
- to ensure all project costs are allocated, recorded, analyzed, monitored and controlled against project and company cost codes
- to analyze and report work in progress against each project
- to prepare site cost control and coding
- controlling costs at the individual level to department and company
- to find and reduce unnecessary costs
- to produce and develop regular and various cost reports/models and advising management of any forecast cost overruns as soon as possible to allow corrective actions to be taken in a timely manner.
