Senior Planner, Wood Group, Shell MSO

START Date:
May, 1989
END Date:
November, 2016

Experience of working in the Petro Chemical / Oil & Gas industry since May 1989. A results oriented individual with technical ability and an established track record in the delivery of Planning support. Able to manage changing priorities on a variety of projects at any one time, to meet deadlines. Able to adopt an energetic and enthusiastic approach in key service goals and performance targets. A positive, loyal and logical individual who enjoys a challenging environment to pursue a clear remit to agreed standards.

Having joined the company as a CAD/CAE Assistant I moved into planning in 1994 and was promoted to a Senior Planner role in 2009 which allowed for more responsibility with members of the management team. This role has given me the opportunity to be involved in many projects. One of which I was accountable to improve the delivery of the Plug & Abandonment Scopes on Brent Alpha and Brent Bravo assets within the Shell ISC project. We had to complete the implementation and andover of these scopes by end of April 2016, to align with commitmets to all stakeholders. Therefore with improved and fast tracked schedules, detailed histograms, forecasting and monitoring on a weekly basis we managed to deliver efficiently and safely within the deadline.

Throughout my time with the company I have gone through megers and acquisitions and worked in offices in London, Stavanger, Heysham, Runcorn and Aberdeen.
