May 2012 – Nowadays: Planning & Scheduling Engineer. (main office). Project: Horizon DRU, VDU & HSU Project in Alberta, Canada for Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL). Responsibilities: To develop the detailed schedule (Level 3) for Engineering and Procurement and (Level 2) for Construction according to the contractual requirements, incorporating engineering, procurement input data in the bid stage. In the project stage, to develop the detailed schedule (Level 3) for Construction incorporating input data from subcontractors, suppliers and main home offices, as well as to develop its S curves and histograms. Meetings with the client in Home Offices.

June 2011 – April 2012: Planning & Scheduling Engineer (main office & site). Project: Erzincan Compressor Station Project, executed in Çayirli (Erzincan), Turkey for BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation. Proposals Area: Several proposals in parallel Responsibilities: To develop the detailed schedule (Level 2 & 3) according to the contractual requirements, incorporating engineering, procurement and construction input data from subcontractors, suppliers and main home offices, as well as to develop its S curves and histograms. Updating of the Monthly Progress Report including the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Precommissioning phases. Meetings with the client in Ankara (main offices) and on site. Replanning for the construction phase.

March 2010 – May 2011: Planning & Scheduling Engineer. (site). Project: C-10 Cartagena Refinery Complex Enlargement Project, executed in Cartagena, Spain for REPSOL YPF. Responsibilities: To provide support in the analysis of the subcontractor´s information and making internal reports for EOM (Executive Operations Meetings). S curves and Progress reports updating in two units for a recently rescheduling set up in situ for the construction and precommissioning phases.

Nov. 2009 – March 2010: Planning & Scheduling Engineer. (main office). Proposals Area: Supporting few proposals for the oil and gas sector regarding projects in Arabic / Middle East Countries mainly. Responsibilities: To develop the proposal schedule (Level 2 & 3) according to client’s requirements (ITB), incorporating engineering, rocurement and construction preliminary input from subcontractors, suppliers and main home offices, as well as to develop its S curves, histograms and the project control procedures and assumptions.

July 2009 – November 2009: Planning & Scheduling Engineer. (main office). Proposals Area: Proposal for the 1.8 MMBOPD Phase-1 Qusahwira Field Development Project to be executed in Abu Dhabi, UAE for ADCO (Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations).  Responsibilities: To develop the proposal detailed schedule according to ITB requirements and incorporating engineering, procurement and construction preliminary data from subcontractors, suppliers and main home offices, as well as to develop its S curves, histograms and the rocedures related to Project Control.

March 2009 – June 2009: Project Scheduler. (main office). Project: SAS (Sahil Asab Shah) Full Field Development Project, executed in Abu Dhabi, UAE for ADCO (Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations). Responsibilities: 
To develop reports over the detailed schedule according to client’s requirements in order to obtain a level 3 Schedule for engineering, procurement and construction as well as to develop and track its S curves and istograms for corresponding reports.

January 2009 – February 2009: Project Scheduler (site). Project: Saih Rawl Depletion Compression Project, executed in Oman for PDO (Petroleum Development Oman). Responsibilities: To provide support in the analysis and reports for replanning of the construction phase of the project in situ.

November 2008 – January 2009: Project Scheduler. (main office). Project: Khabarovsk Refinery, Hydroprocessing Project, executed in Russia for Khabarovsk Oil Refinery. Responsibilities: To provide support in the data compilation, updating of the project schedule in the main offices (Madrid) for the engineering and procurement phases of the project. 

In CH2M Hill from December 2006 to October 2008:

April 2008 – November 2008: Project Scheduler (site). Project: Cactus Phase II Automotive Plant Expansion Project, executed in San Luis Potosi, Mexico for GM-Mexico (General Motors Company)  Responsibilities: To follow up the construction work execution schedule for an assembly plant, as to ensure that works were carried out according to the contract terms within the time, quality and costs planned as well as the supervision on site, progress estimation and development of reports and executive presentations to the client.

January 2007 – March 2008: Project Scheduler (site). Project: New Products Development Laboratory Project, executed in Mexico City, Mexico for Schering Plough. Responsibilities: Development and follow up the construction work execution schedule (Level 3) for a new pharmaceutical products development plant for Schering Plough. Verify and follow up physical and financial progress. Estimating control, as to ensure that works were carried out according to the contract terms within the scope, time, quality and costs planned preparation of reports and executive presentations to the client. Support to the client on Precommissioning activities.

In CONIISA from December 2004 to August 2006:

Project Scheduler (site). Project: Minatitlan Refinery (Auxiliary Services Unit, Sour Water Processing Plant and Integration Works) Project, executed in Minatitlan, Veracruz for PEMEX in Mexico. Responsibilities: Analysis, follow up and assessment (supervision) of the work execution schedule by ICA-Fluor Daniel in charge of EPC contract. Follow up and validation of physical and financial progress. Procedures application for the above mentioned issues. Solution alternatives proposals for delays and potential problems as support for the decision making. Follow up of actions agreed between ICA-Fluor Daniel and PEMEX to ensure that works were carried out according to the contractual schedule (within the time, scope and costs planned).

In IMP (Instituto Mexicano del Petróleo) from July 2000 to June 2003. 

Claims and Work Orders Engineer. (main office). Project: Cadereyta Refinery Reconfiguration and Modernization Project executed in Cadereyta, Nuevo León for PEMEX in Mexico. Responsibilities: Analysis of the action courses for the arbitration process filed by PEMEX facing the contractor in the international Chamber of Commerce. Review of the application of the Independent Expert procedures (SGS), as well as Technical Auditor (CICATA) and Contractors (SK Engineering & Construction and SIEMENS), electronic and physical document control, statistics and calculations for work orders and claims. Attention to government audits (SECODAM, ASF, Internal Treasury Inspector’s Office).
