Planning Engineer

• Selection of appropriate project specific planning techniques and sequences.
• Analyze construction site and environment and determine the logistics and resource requirements.
• Prepare Project Master Planning and construction schedule through the stages of conception, tendering, engineering shop drawing, procurement and construction.
• Prepare resource histogram, schedule of work and procurement cycle (tracking the deliverable throughout the project duration).
  • Update Projects status, resource histogram and financial forecast.
• Analyze actual performance progress throughout construction phase, compare with project schedule of work and reviews activity status report and progress report.
  • Identify and highlight deviations to planned schedule and alert Project Managers.
• Liaise with Site Engineers, Construction Managers, and Project Managers throughout the project and make adjustments to planning and scheduling.
  • Prepare cash flow, monitor and track and update project cost against budget.
  • Modify or make necessary change on the project work plan to recover critical work progress.
  • Identify critical paths and propose corrective measures for effective project completion
  • Providing advice and support on the development of specific systems.
• Submit Weekly Report (project time schedule tracking, project activities status, two weeks look ahead, and budget cost tracking/s-curve), Monthly Reports (project introduction, project components, project progress, project schedule, monthly cash flow, man power & equipment, and site progress photographs).
• Submit and ensures project documents and report are complete
