Role

Working as a senior planning consultant primarily in the oil and gas industry and providing support for other planners within the company working on other projects. Also involved in developing company profile within Australia specifically in project controls.

Duties

Working on projects from Tender, Contract Award through Design, Construction and Post Construction phases including forensic planning and delay analysis

Providing expert advice and consultation in the oil and gas industry regarding the planning and execution of construction projects

Evaluating contractor programmes and methodologies for contract compliance

Cultivating productive relationships with the client and project management team

Advising clients in the application of planning to achieve effective plans resulting in a reduced risk to overall project outcome for remaining works and future projects

Carrying out detailed programme analyses in order to determine critical paths and determine delay impact on contractor programmes

Report writing detailing analysis methodologies and findings in an objective and comprehensive manner

Advising clients on resource loading of programmes regarding labour/ equipment required and productivity norms in order to carry out scope of works from contract documentation
