Job Responsibility:

1. Preparing a Project Schedule in coordination with Project Manager
2. Preparing and monitoring of the detailed project schedule as per work progress
3. Creating, analyzing and communicating the various project reports to the management
4. Coordinating with various stake holders of project for resolving project related issues
5. Identifying delays, bringing them to notice of PM for initiating action to resolve them

7. Member of Core Planning team & Interview panel for Planning Engineer.
8. Administrating Primavera & resolving doubts of other engineers

Major projects handled as Project Manager

1. 5X270 MW Thermal Power Plant at Amravati, Maharashtra
2. 5X270 MW Thermal Power Plant at Nasik, Maharashtra

Projects owned by Indiabulls Power Ltd. valued more than Rs. 8000 Crore. TCE has got assignment for preparing detailed (L3) level project plan for these projects using Primavera. Detailed Project Schedule (L3 level) was prepared consisting of more than 5500 activities per project.

Contribution in Project:

• Prepared Detailed (L2) Level Project Plan using Primavera (P7) considering Engineering deliverables, Site Construction Activities, Site Erection Methodology, System Commissioning sequence.
• Working as Project Manager for Planning Assignment

Achievement:

• Received an Appreciation from client for completing the assignment in record time and for showing detailed activities.

Major projects handled as Planning Engineer

1. 4000MW Ultra Mega Power Plant at Mundra, Gujarat

India’s first private sector power project using supercritical technology; most energy efficient plant in the country with capital investment of US$ 4.2 billion. Owner of this plant is Costal Gujarat Power Limited (Subsidiary of TATA Power).

Contribution in Project:

• Preparing project schedule covering Engineering deliverables, Procurement activities, Construction activities, Erection and Commissioning activities.
• Preparing monthly report for engineering activities highlighting present status of deliverables, issues of concern, project progress and look ahead schedule.
• Involved in preparing detailed Commissioning schedule consisting of more than 14000 activities capturing all the activities having minimum duration of 1 day.

• Selected as Leader for ‘Change - Process Automation’ Team
• Idea given for process automation was selected as Best Idea and received an Award for same
• Conducting Knowledge Sharing and Team Building sessions for Team Members
• Preparing & finalizing project progress calculation methodology and analyzing cash flow
• Designed an automated system for Vendor Drawing Review & Tracking which is implemented for all new projects in Bangalore office.
• Prepared automated system for Tracking TCE drawings and generating automated report.
• Prepared format for Defect Tracking and Reporting sheet for TBEM & ISO purposes.
