PROFICIENCY FORTE Design Engineering Review and Approval of Contractor’s Drawings/ Documents. Pipe size selection, Pump sizing. Evaluation of Technical offers. Coordination with Purchase Department & Assist in order placement. Coordination of Project Activities with Client and Vendors. Detail Calculation of Ash handling system. – Bottom Ash Hopper sizing, Bottom Ash hopper cooling water requirement, Hydro Ejector sizing (Jet Pump), Tank/ Sump sizing, Buffer Hopper sizing, Bag filter selection, Silo sizing, Blower sizing, Bag filter selection, water / slurry pumps & pipe selection, Motor selection, instrument air compressor, transport air compressor, vacuum pump. Belt pulley calculation. Calculation Slurry Disposal System & Fly Ash System Data Sheets related to Ash Handling System equipments. Preparation of Flow diagram, Layouts Drawing, Detail drawing as per Layout. General Arrangement Drawing, Bill of Material. Project Planning Analysis of Functional Requirements of the project. Estimating need for Hardware, pipes and fittings, generating Bill of Quantities for timely supply of material. Keep Close involvement with client for System Designing, Plant engineering & Detailed Engineering of Project covering System layout in line with client requirement. Co-ordination with the relevant department and project consultant for preparation of drawings (GA, P&ID etc) Ensure technical support to the management by Time management of activities/resources, procurement planning for the material, Progress monitoring & report areas of concern on regular basis to keep in control of risk management & quality management. Development & Finalization of Project Schedule through Concurrence of all Dep’t. Scheduling of activities/resources, planning for the material, control of project cost etc. Close tie-up with different agencies for project execution at project site with Quality & management and assist for time bound completion of job by committed delivery of project within budgetary limits with compliance to quality standards. Supervising the Balance of Plant, calculations, development of P&I diagrams, Layouts G.A. drawings, Data sheets & Bill of Materials. Project Execution Raising Inspection call as well as do Inspection of vendor Items and follow up till dispatch material. Preparation of technical / commercial comparative statements. Monitoring activities of personnel towards ensuring adherence to safety norms. Deploying review systems to manage execution of projects on time and as per budgeted parameters. Site Coordination Expediting of material from various vendor end to site and execution of milestones as per schedule. Design/technical coordination during erection & commissioning at site. Consultant Interactions Submission and follow up the DBR’s, drawings, process and instrumentation diagram(P&ID) and technical data like guarantee technical particulars (GTP) and quality plan (QP) as per customer requirement for approval. Vendor Interactions Review of vendor BBU Engineering co-ordination by reviewing technical documents / drawings, issuing technical recommendations and giving clearance for manufacturing. Review of vendor delivery schedules with respect to the project schedule. Conducting the conference with client, consultant and vendor to resolve the technical issues. Expediting the submission of vendor drawings and documents as per delivery schedule to meet the project schedule. Proposal Engineering: Evaluation of tender document and preparing scope of work, commercial terms and project schedule as per tender document. Conducting the internal bid evaluation meeting with technical and commercial teams. Preparation and Updating of pre bid queries and conducting the prebid meeting with customer/consultant on the tender documents. Preparing the bill of material (BOM) and bill of Quantities (BOQ) as per tender drawings and documents. Preparation of site visit reports and technical specification for different equipment’s as per bid documents. Cost estimation calculations with budgetary cost for different equipment’s like Ash Slurry Pumps, Slurry Pipes, Clinker Grinders, Motors, HCSD Pipes, Ash Dyke Lining, Compressor Capacity, Interconnecting Pipes, Instrument Air & Service Air Capacity based on the Plot plan. Preparation of tentative layout drawings of Mechanical equipment’s (like Bottom Ash Hopper Design, Fly Ash Design, Compressor Block, motors, t as per plot plan for civil cost estimation. Preparation of approval contractor, supplier and vendor list. Preparation of bid qualification, technical and commercial document in customer format. Attending the post bid meetings for techno commercial discussion & negotiation with clients. Conducting the kick off meetings Conducting the project handover meetings.
