Project Planning

Preparation of Project schedules & Bid Schedules as per standard activity list and WBS structure, with technical logical sequence. Liaise with relevant department and confirm their commitments in schedule. Freeze the baseline after approval from Project Manager/Customer after resource leveling.

Carry out basic Estimation for the project schedule as per the Standard norms. Workshop layout planning for project execution, if required especially for space constraint.

Carry out Critical path analysis and risks associated to it. Project fast tracking and crashing for timely completion & keep the track of all forecast items in schedule by 2 week look ahead.

Monitoring and control of project schedule, manpower histogram, cost & resource baseline by developing/issuing weekly & monthly reports internally and also as per client’s requirement.

Analyzing the schedule at every stage of Project along with Project Manager and highlighting to concerned in weekly meeting for their further actions and mitigation.

Resolve issues related to schedule conflict/Priority issues related to engineering drawings, materials & other queries with manufacturing shops, as required by concerned department.

Revise baseline based on changes, if required. To incorporate changes to the scope of work into schedule, histograms and progress curves and analyze their effects, clearly highlighting the critical path every week and also special mitigation plans, if required.

Providing the feedback to Project Manager for the lessons learnt during the Project and to avoid them in future Projects.
