  • Provide leadership role in the transfer of process technologies in alignment with company plan.
  • Interface with engineering, materials control, planning, regulatory, quality, sales & marketing and manufacturing in setting and achieving common project goals.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
  • Generate and manage project documentation according to prescribed policies and guidelines .
  • Conduct cross functional team meetings in conjunction with assigned projects .
  • Provide detailed project plans and updates as required. Manage projects to meet agreed upon timelines.
  • Provide technical support as and when required.
  • Signoff the Service Level Agreement with the customer (SLA)
  • Based on the company facilities the TAT and Quality level will be declared in the agreement.
  • Cause of rescheduling, cause of delay in TAT also mentioned in the SLA.
  • Get the confirmation from the design team and production team for achieving the customer requirements. Based on this confirmation dates the project will be scheduled.
  • Coordination with production team, design team, purchase department for running the projects successfully.
  • Analyze and solve the problem using 7 QC techniques. Use the six sigma concepts in improvement projects.
  • Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products:

 

  • Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

 

  • Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.

 

  • Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

 

  • Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.

 

  • Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects. Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

 

  • Prepares production reports. May prepare lists of required
  • Materials, tools, and equipment. May prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.
