Working as “Head of Project Control & Services”in the Project Development Department of PETRONAS CARIGALI (Pakistan) Limited for the projects of

 “Rehmat-3 Pipeline Project-Onshore Pakistan” &

“Saqib-1A Pipeline Project-Onshore Pakistan”

 

Where responsibilities included:

·         Checking the quality of the Conceptual / FEED /Detailed Design contractor deliverables, in compliance with the project objectives and specifications. Anticipation of these deliverables to provide the input before the issue of the contractor documents

·         Participation in the various reviews such as: plot review, PID’s review, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL classification, RAM study, constructability review, Risk workshops etc.

·         Liaise with contractor representative in PMT, to ensure the right input as needed in the project design basis

·         Liaise with the Technical Services provider, to get in due time and as needed, the experts assistance during the Conceptual / FEED /Detailed Design work

·         Ensure the input in Lessons learned process as required, according to the Project procedure

·         Coordinate external audits, reviews and workshops and ensure close-out of findings

·         Liaise with the interface engineers for all interface issues addressed during the Conceptual / FEED /Detailed Design phase

·         Prepare the interface management documents as needed for the EPCC phase

·         Identify and address technical and/or schedule issues, which may put at risk the project. Raise them to project management level as needed

·         Liaise with project controls group to monitor the execution of the project, and address any potential deviation

·         Liaise with the 3rd parties directly hired by Company, such as EIA advisor, soil investigation contractor

·         Check the quality of the technical input of the cost estimates

·         Independent progress verifications checks of performance of the various project elements as well as capturing projects risks impacts in the project cost & schedule.

·         Reviewing the Contractor cost reports and provide cost input to the Project monthly report and input to Business One.

·         Working with Finance to provide consistent Cost information of the project and ensure that SAP reflects the Project budget, commitments and expenditure.

·         Tracking changes of costs over time and provide reconciliation of changes and Participation in estimate and schedule reviews.

·         Prepare the execution plan for EPCC phase, including the schedule and other plans (such as HSE, Quality, Construction, Engineering Surveillance, Commissioning)

·         Document controls and records management

·         Preparing and maintaining high level and detailed annual and total budgets for all phases of the project life cycle.
