Contracts Engineer / Claims Analyst

Contract Price: $230.000.000 (highway), €250.000.000 (for all three HEPPs)

HEPP Projects are funded by International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Employer/Engineer is EnerjiSA (owned by Sabancı, biggest industry and finance company in Turkey and Verbund, leading electricity company in Austria)

In the highway project, Saudi Arabia based Al-Muhandis is the Consultant.

      to secure and follow contractual documents

      to follow and manage the contract signed by Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq

      to prepare letters that are to be sent to all parties of the contract as well as the government

      to attend meetings with parties when the contractual issues are to be discussed

      to prepare, follow and manage contracts of sub-contractors

      to collect information about works and to warn managers of possible consequences of company’s actions on time

      to prepare particulars for extension of time and accounts for additional payments

      to give notices of claims to the Engineer and to prepare claim files by identifying and substantiating the events

      to strictly adhere to time limit of clauses of contracts leading to variations, claims and arbitration

      to follow all steps of the contracts, to be open and to seek for all the information that may be necessary in possible future claims

      to follow construction programme and to assist, advise and warn planning engineer whenever necessary

      to improve the works by making researches about them and applying the results thereof

      to use, follow, improve contracts and claim management group’s know-how files which ease tracking of correspondences

      to inform and advise the Project Manager and Contracts / Claim Group Manager about contractual issues on time

      to report directly to the Project Manager and the Contracts / Claim Group Manager

      to follow companies’ three HEPP projects in Turkey and to advise respective contracts engineer whenever necessary

      to submit company president and vice presidents a file of history of the project which clearly shows the achievements and failures of the company on contractual issues on yearly basis

In addition to the above, applicant has also following responsibilities since August 2011 during the Construction of 52 km, 2x2 Highway in Iraq as a Scheduler apart from his other duties:

      to visit active construction project and investigate work progress, and to confirm progress is consistent with the project schedule

      to revise the construction programme whenever necessary
