Project Controls Engineer, CH2M Hill VECO Engineering Abu Dhabi UAE, FEED for El M'Zaid Project Surface Facilities
Working as Project Controls Lead for the following projects:
1) FEED for El M’Zaid Project Surface Facilities (Client: Groupement El M’Zaid (Sonatrach-CNPC), Algeria)
2) ASAB Facilities Upgrade Study (Client: Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations – ADCO, Abu Dhabi)
3) On-Call Technical Services Agreement (Client: Dolphin Energy Limited, Qatar)
The main responsibilities are the project controls functions such as:
· Owns and complies with the CH2MHILL’s policies
· Establishing the project baseline budget (revenue and cost) by preparing Cost Break-down Structure (CBS) in the Pricer
· Preparation of Engineering (Feasibility Study, FEED, EPC) schedules base on SOW
· Early forecast of potential problems affecting the key project milestones and completion date
· Provide support to project managers in preparation of EOT claims, variation orders, contractual correspondence etc
· Participate in preparation of resource utilization on different projects & preparation of corporate reports for resource requirements for on-going and future project
· Wrench set-up, monitoring and control for project design deliverables
· Critical path analysis (CPA) on the basis of agreed schedule
· Establishing and effective implementation of the systems for the tracking of cost and progress
· Prepared analysis/ efficiency reports (GM analysis of revenue verses cost incurred, progress and variation orders) for Management review
· Established and maintained the cost trending system to analyze the impact of variation orders on baseline revenue, cost and schedule
· Progress variance analysis (baseline, current and mitigation schedule)
· Engaged in the mitigation strategy to minimize the potential risk/bottlenecks and delays
· Prepared EPC schedules at engineering stage
· Engaged in risk identification, analysis and mitigation strategy on of Feasibility Study, FEED and EPC jobs
