Projects: Offshore :  Alba B Accommodations, Emergency Escape Bridge, Al B & B2 Fire & Gas Upgrade, Security Upgrades, Offshore Perimeter Surveillance Implementation. Onshore : Chemical Storage Warehouse, Malabo Dos, Overhead Gas Plant Integrated Project, Reliability Projects, Lightning Protection Project and Glycol Regeneration Project

Participate in the kickoff meeting; gather all the information required in order to prepare a baseline schedule. Normal requirements for the baseline schedules are start and finish dates for FEED Engineering procurement, contractor finalization, material delivery, manpower/equipment and construction/commissioning. Ensure contractors have implemented effective financial and planning controls. Utilize software’s (Primavera 6/MS Project) for the tracking and control of budgets, commitments, accruals, expenditures and contingency drawdown during the duration of projects. Identify project cost exposures and overrun risks in a timely manner to allow informed mitigation decisions and actions. Ensure that contractual payment is made on a timely basis and tied to earned progress. Ensure appropriate metrics are being tracked such as productivity, wage rate, overtime and rework. Monitor and analyze contractor project schedules and advise the project manager of deviations and potential problems and recommend corrective actions. Implement schedule change management process to approve changes to the previous schedules. Monitor contractor manpower utilization. Ensure smooth transfer of schedule controls from Houston (Home Office) to the field. Ensure physical progress is being measured and reported in WBS detail and that the integrated CPM schedule is updated based on the progress. Ensure that manpower and other resource plans (equipments) are being reviewed to insure staffing is on track and achievable. Provide adequate training to nationals in Project Controls.
