I was working for Sasol Technology on various projects. I was part of a core team of individuals that specializes in Project Management. These projects are multi disciplinary, consisting of idea packaging, pre-feasibility, feasibility, basic development, execution; which include the following -  fabrication and erection of piping, civil works, structural steel fabrication and erection, electrical and instrumentation erection, as well as start up and evaluation/start-up, according to the Sasol Business Development & Implementation Model, in the petrochemical industry. Using Primavera Project software, I compiled & update level 4 integrated schedules, providing monthly reports for Management meetings. All subcontractors’ schedules will be incorporated as sub-projects into our over-all schedule, creating a level 4 integrated schedule. I assisted with Bid Evaluation, Contractor Selection, Management and co-ordination of interface milestones with sub-contractors. The familiarity with contract documents, general conditions, special conditions, scope of work and contractual drawings is of great importance. Analyzing sub-contractor’s schedules to make sure they are still on schedule, checking earned progress versus planned progress, based on earned man-hours.
