  • Manager of Field Project Controls. 

Administrative manager for up to 110 direct report staff, responsible for all hiring, salary administration, project assignments, personnel evaluation, training, management oversight, and all other administrative duties. Responsible to provide all tools, support and personnel for all Houston office projects including <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />EPC and Continuous Presence sites.   Responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of field project controls tools.  Coordinate staffing requirements and tools implementation on all construction projects with Project and Construction Managers.  Successfully staffed as many as 12 concurrent construction projects, and 4 continuous presence sites with project controls professional staff, some requiring as many as 25 positions. 

Department has been grown by 120% during tenure.  Departmental growth dictated the reorganization of the group to maintain continuity and consistency on all projects.  Develop policies and procedures to support new work processes and methods.  While manager for the largest project controls department in the 57,000 person corporation developed a construction earned value system to establish, track and analyze physical progress on all construction projects.  This tool was reviewed by corporate management and used as the model for development of the new corporate earned value tool.
