Accomplishment:

Project  Phase :(Access /Define Stage) Pre Award Malikai Project

  • Established various project cases schedule for best optimization planning strategies and what If Scenarios
  • Established and coordinate timeline for project team to obtain their inputs commitment for various high level reports and meetings
  • Established progress tracking methodologies and measurements for tender deliverable documents during tender stage for project team
  • Meeting with respective leads to confirm bid reporting requirements (WBS, Progress Measurement, etc.) and CTR are in align with requirements.
  • Reviewed and update departmental (Project Services) ITT documents issue to tenderers
  • Update overall project schedule incorporating change on contracting strategy, output from respective leads meetings and ESAR/VAR( internal peer project managers)  recommendations
  • Prepare monthly ,department inputs reports for project team for overall monthly report

Complexity:

  • Working out overall progress measure for EPC work package to links with cost WBS
  • Having demonstrate to all package manager to align on acceptance of proposed progress measurement
  • Capturing changes on contracting strategies inputs to Primavera baseline program

After Award EPC (TLP) Contract

  • Coordinating with internal RE & Leads to Review/Check, Contractor’s baseline schedule submission if logic links are correctly link to predecessors and successor /duration used /calendar and accordance to project guide. Was responsible for getting the input and respond to Proj. Service Manager corresponds comments to contractor’s submission.
  • Coordinating with internal RE & Leads Progress to review/check contractor progress measurement procedure submission if the weightage use agreeable for Engineering /Procurement & Construction activities. Was responsible for getting the input and respond to Proj. Service Manager/Cost Lead corresponds comments to contractor’s submission.EPC (TLP) Engineering Phase
  • Attending Company and Contractors weekly and monthly meeting to provide inputs on delay activities and near critical path activities and impact to schedule
  • Coordinating with RE’s to verify Contractors progress claims and to report Cost Eng. the discrepancy.
  • To update Company Integrated Master Schedule related to EPC scope of works
  • To prepare Monthly/Weekly internal progress meeting slide on planning and progress related activities what lagging and what’s in critical path activities and remaining float to make aware to RE’s and Proj. Manager
  • To prepare varies report relates schedule impact and delay activities for Project Manager.   


Complexity on EPC-TLP (Tendon Leg Platform) Engineering Phase:

  • Having to coordinates and obtain inputs from RE’s and Leads
  • Having to manage log changes Contractors project schedule, where change continual made by Contactor with links/lags and duration without notifying Company.

After EPC TLP Engineering Completed I Move on To MALIKAI Tendon / Top Tension Riser and subsurface planning as below describes.

Tendon & Top Tension Riser ( TTR ) Fabrication Phase.

  • Attending Company and Contactors weekly and monthly meeting to provide inputs on delay activities and near critical path activities and impact to schedule.
  • To update Company Integrated Master Schedule related to Tendon  and TTR scope of works
  • Monitor Contractors fabrication True Putt (Schedule) and to compare with Contractors Master Schedule in Primavera to reflect the same data is reflected to see if it’s on critical path.
  • To keep know the Project Manager the status of delivery and critical activities to ensure delivery or need dates does not jeopardize wells drill works and offshore activities.
  • To prepare monthly updates to Project Manager and Engineers the health check of schedule the remaining floats and activities in critical path.
  • Having to coordinates and obtain inputs from engineers whom use to work with their method of planning which does not compass float and critical path. 
  • Complexity on Tendon & TTR Fabrication                                                           
  • Having the correct and verified progress inputs to be update into Master Company Primavera Schedule.
  • Having to synthesis fabrication planning software translate to Primavera soft as sequence at fabrication workshop frequently change according test result to next sequence of works which mess up the logic links in Primavera
  • Having to change the mind set of Fabrication contractors the works are project base and related to other offshore activities and the consequence of chain reaction. 

 

Sub Surface Activities

  • Create work schedule integrating wells Engineering/Contracts/Procurement/Regulatory for Execution Schedule up to level 4 details.
  • Having coordinate with RE to obtain input for updating the schedule and to provide Remaining Float and Critical Path activities to project Manager on monthly basis.
  • Running scenarios on wells drilling sequence and installation of TTR   and providing probability of best alternative on what if scenarios.
  • Complexity on Sub Surface.Having to coordinates and obtain inputs from engineers whom use to work with their method of planning which does not compass float and critical path.
