  • Develop and implement progress measurement systems;

As the only advanced user of Asta Powerproject (our project planning software) within the Planning Department, I have been made responsible for developing our companies project reporting programmes. These programmes allow schemes to be monitored on a daily, weekly and monthly period with automatic reports produced for different management levels including the Directors. This will in turn allow the Planners to take on an increasing work load by reducing the amount of time spent on site reporting on progress of schemes.

  • Staff Training

I am also solely responsible for Asta Powerproject staff training across the company. This saves sending new staff away on the 3 day course and with the implementation of the project reporting programmes all staff need to be able to access and use the software including all Site, Project and Operations Managers.
