  • The Programme & Project Controls Manager is a senior business unit manager position within Sanyati.   This function oversees the complete project portfolio of the company ranging between R700M and R1,2B. 
  • This business unit is responsible for: (a) the complete planning , forecasting and monitoring of the time and cost component of all projects, (b) the commercial management of projects in terms of risk, claims, adjudication, variation orders, impact of delay and disruption on time and cost and (c) for reporting to Executive management on the status of all projects.
  • Working closely with the estimating department in submitting tenders. Responsible for the contractual soundness of tenders as well as the time and budget aspect of the tender. 
  • Along with the Chief Operations Director attended any Tender clarification meetings and Site handover meetings to communicate and clarify all contractual matters and project time milestones.
  • Responsible for the planning of each project’s time and cost component.  This included the compilation of the project time schedule, project budget and cashflow forecasts.
  • Assess all risks including different methods for optimal use of resources.
  • Assign resources to specific activities andoptimisethe use thereof.
  • Communicate the project's time and cost objectives to the construction team and executive management.
  • Maintain the project schedule and budget on a monthly basis.  Attent site meetings and communicate time and cost deliverables as well as claims for scope changes, culpable and excusable delay.
  • Hold regular progress meetings with construction managers and subcontractors regarding the updated schedule, budget and their progress.

·         Manage the project in terms of NEC, JBCC, FIDIC or GCC requirements

  • Manage and coordinate all programme information fromrelevantparties to the project.
  • Provide expert analysis of time claims and delay .
