Programme Planner / Scheduler, to set up an International Project Planning Office for a SAP HR programme (Empower)

The Empower Project is a Global SAP HR solution that was to be deployed across Serco’s Estate.  My role was to create 18 Project plans and to merge them into an integrated programme plan including linking the dependences together.  I maintained and monitor the integrated programme plan.  I provided quality, realistic and achievable plans as well as a reporting function to the Empower SAP HR Project Board.  I constantly checked the quality and accuracy of the project plans.  Ensuring the promotion of best practice, implementation of Project controls, reporting standards, produce and document standard guidelines for all portfolio management activities.  I provided timely and accurate reports on project progress.  I was responsible for developing the planning standards for the SAP HR programme and implementing best practices.  I tracked progress against plan, including monitoring delivery against the baseline and challenging any variances.  I worked directly with the Project Managers and the sub-contractors to establish the timeline’s identify work products, detailed deliverables tasks and any resource issues.
