Budget and Planning Manager, saudi tumpane company limited, stcl sewage projects

o    Planning & Scheduling & cost control:

·         Attend the formal handover from Proposals and Estimating at the start of the project in accordance with Corporate Procedures

·         Lead the planning team to develop the most appropriate method and sequence of operations for different projects

·         Create Project Budget

·         Develop in conjunction with the Project Manager and Client a suitable WBS for the project

·         Create activity list

·         Estimate cost & time.

·         Develop Schedule & CP (Critical path)

·         Develop project budget

·         Build project schedule on SAP PS & Primavera 6.

·         Update projects with primavera 6.

·         Review and approve comments on scheduling through application of Primavera (P3 & P6) & MS Projects for effective scheduling execution of projects as well as experience in SAP systems.

 

o    Procurement & Supply chain:

·         Review quotations and assist project managers in comparison sheets.

·         Create & Release purchase requests also the reservation no. on SAP PS.

·         Follow purchase requests till the issue stage

·         Create Material Requirements Plan (MRP)

·         Create of material master on SAP PS

·         Follow up with warehouse the major material stocks for projects

 

o    SAP PS User:

·         Create project structure on SAP PS (WBS, Activity and Schedule).

·         Release project & Budget.

·         Prepare Gantt Chart

·         Creation of Milestone/Integration of Milestone with billing

·         Project Cost Control

·         Knowledge in Integration between PS & Other Departments including Purchasing cycle, MRP for Projects, Man Hour confirmations, Finance Postings, Project Billing.

 

o    Monitor & Control:

·         Control Plan cost VS Budget cost for project in SAP PS & Primavera 6.

·         Control and analysis for plan cost Vs. Actual Cost

·         Prepare package of reports for projects and make required adjustments for them

·         Review the project Report progress status, showing actual status vs. planned schedule and highlight problem areas with the Project Management and recommend corrective action where necessary

·         Ensure that all cost, planning and document control reports are prepared and issued in accordance with the Project Coordination Procedure.

·         Liaise with other Departments at all meetings relevant to project operations and ensure that the time and cost plans are updated to reflect latest information.

·         To monitor, analyze, control and report current and forecast progress and manpower histograms against approved Contract schedules to enable project and corporate management to ensure that final project turnover dates are within the approved Contract schedule

·         Recommends solution or recovery plans to schedule impact delays

·         Attend contractor weekly progress meeting Take notes/comments and take necessary/corrective actions on all Project and schedule issues

·         Maintain a schedule of actual progress against programmed progress in the project and issue to management on a weekly and monthly basis

 

o    Assistance for the operation manager in:

·         Make organization chart.

·         Apply planning best practice

·         Review project documentation and specs.
