Projects handled:  Successfully leaded EPC project control function of Kerosene & Naphtha Hydrotreaters, Emergency S/d of VGOHT, Seawater piping, Retail outlet (for petrol dispensers)

  • Effective Project Engineering (Engineering planning, scheduling & co-orindation)
  • Co-ordination for Value engineering meetings & constructability reviews and ensuring its updation in engineering drawings
  • Finalization of construction scope of different disciplines (@ 4 million manhours)
  • Preparation of Work packages for different construction contractors
  • Analyzing contractor’s competence, resource mobilization capabilities, present resource engagement & recommending most suitable contractor for timely completion of the job
  • Development of level 3 EPC schedule & level 4 construction schedule of @ 5000 activities
  • Identifying critical paths and developing action plan to make them non-critical
  • Ensure effective utilization of P&M (24 Nos. cranes at peak), Manpower (2000 Nos. manpower at peak) , consumables & enabling materials
  • Development & distribution of S curve progress on weekly basis

 

Significant Achievements:

 

  • Recognized as “performer exceeding expectation of organization”
  • Effective scheduling and co-ordination, resulted in hassle free commissioning of units within 34 months time frame, 3 months ahead of baseline schedule
  • Handled EPC schedule & resource management of more than 5000 nos. multidisciplinary activities effectively, resulted in minimizing resource idling & achieved 20% more efficiency over the benchmarked productivity index norms set by M/s BECHTEL
  • Trained more than 50 Project control trainees as a Co-faculty of 3 days workshop on basic Project planning & control techniques & scheduling with primavera project planner (3.1)
