Responsible for the delegation and supervision of formworks and responsibilities while promoting a safe working environment through the correct implementation of the Health & Safety Management System.

 

Reporting to the Executive Manager and coordinating with the Head of the Design and Construction Division of the company. I was responsible for:

  • Ensuring direct labor and subcontract labor understand what is required of them, and have the materials and equipment readily available to carry out the work to the required quality standard within the timescale set.
  • Supervising formwork/scaffolding works, giving clear instructions to subordinates and subcontractors, to ensure quality control and compliance of materials and workmanship.
  • Identifying defects of workmanship against quality standards and arranging to take corrective action as appropriate.
  • Preparation of Shop Drawings on site of structural details such as Steel reinforcement details.
  • Formwork/scaffolding/false work field such as load assessment, analysis, executing, technical consulting and developing a variety of temporal work for concrete wall shuttering, slab and beam supports.
  • Providing safe and cost effective designs of formworks and shoring arrangements on a project.
  • Coordinating with Client's supervision team for work inspections and approvals.
  • Estimating change orders including breakdown (labor, equipment & materials).

Attending weekly and monthly project coordination meetings between contractor and client.
