Utilities Co-ordination, Buro Happold, Heathrow Terminal 2 - Multi Story Car Park and Infrastructure

Provision of a Project Management and Planning Services for the Heathrow Terminal Two MSCP, Structural Ramps, Highways and surrounding Infrastructure. 

 

  • John's activities include:
      • Co-ordination of overall site utility design, protection, diversion, removal and interfaces.
      • Design and management support and where necessary leadership for the Utility Design co-ordination involved with this project.
      • Undertaking Gap analysis of information received and take necessary steps to obtain missing information or highlighting these omissions to the correct members of the design team.
      • Scheduling and planning advice for the BH Design Development Programme using primarily MS Project software
      • Monitoring and Control of the resulting schedule.
      • Updating progress and a weekly and possibly bi-weekly basis.
      • Attendance at Progress meetings and leading Utility Co-ordination/Design Workshops
      • Carrying out formal period reporting on progress and status including a look-ahead summary of key activities/items occurring before the next reporting period.
      • Rationalising existing resource planning and Work Breakdown Structures to align with current Project/Programme deliverable milestones, constraints, and decision points.
      • Maintaining project/programme planning documents in accessible fashion and employing appropriate Information Management practices.
      • Investigating impacts that variation and change will have on the project will have on project/programme schedules.
      • Provide a Document Control resource – there is a large suite of documents and data associated with this project the accurate organisation and access of this information is crucial to project success.
      • Ensure project information, data and procedures are correctly administered.
