Prepare and monitor package and control project execution with regards activities/tasks planned in approval planning package and update on status of project such as progress measurement, contractors claim (cost control) & project management. 

Duties and Scope of Works

 

  • Develop the Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and prepare Control Estimate & Project Schedule.

     

      •     Work breakdown structure detailed out at Control level.
      •    Project Control Estimate. 
  •  

       

    1. Develop Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS) based on WBS.
    2.  

      • Cost Breakdown structure
      • Common Code Account assigned to each cost item
      • Organization Breakdown Structure with specific individual name
      • Manpower/Staffing Plan

       

      1. Develop and prepare the Project Control Plan to outline the process that will be used to measure progress, control cost & schedule and analyze variances.
        •    Project Control Plan outlining the progress that will be used to measure progress, control cost & schedule, change control, reporting and analyze variances.

       

      1. Prepare and update the Total Project Cost against Estimate. Responsible to controlling and monitoring the details of the actual commitment, expenditures, trends and forecast in comparison to the approved budget.
        •   Budget Performance (Calendar Year & Financial Year)
        •   AFE (inclusive Structure)
        •   Cost variance analysis
        •   Forecast cost (Annual & Total)
        •   Annual Budgeting (WPB & CPB)
        •   Trend Register & Change Management.

       

      1. Update and analyze Project Schedule and Cost, highlight cost variance/issues, Critical path and make recommendations to the Project Managers on effective mitigation.
        •   Earned Value Analysis
        •   Productivity analysis of Productivity Index
