Designing and building new high-speed line Milan- Bologna, complying with cutting-edge technological standards, as well as being closely integrated with the existing railway network by 8 interconnections. The line extends for 182 km through 42 municipalities, involves the construction of a total of 36 viaducts (some of which will cross existing watercourses), 10 cut-and-cover tunnels, 29 bridges, 65 surveys, almost 200 km of new roads, and the bridge over the Po river (about 400 m long), a cable-stayed bridge, suspended by steel stays from high vertical supporting structures (towers).
