Program Planning Manager

Confidential Client, UAE – Working within the Program Management Office, as the Program Planning Manager.  Managing a portfolio of over 90 Projects both Capital and Non-Capital in nature and reporting directly to the Client on a monthly basis. 

Responsibilities:  Program Planning Management duties include:

  • Developing and setting planning standards, such as Templates and Dashboards and advising Project Managers of how these can properly implemented in order to control the reporting standards across the 90 projects.
  • Development of the reporting process including Concise Reports, PMO Reports through to Government Level Reporting.  Working with the Strategic Team in order to ensure all elements of projects are reported (including time, cost, cashflow, resources, risks, change, issues and RAG status) in a concise manner, thus enabling the team to analyse the data and correctly report to the client on the current state of the programme of works.
  • Compliance checking and vetting of all project reports to ensure standards are being adhered to.
  • Extraction of data from all project monthly reports in order to analyse and produce a Monthly Reports for issue to:
    • Government Level Bodies;
    • Company CEO;
    • Project Director;
    • Department heads;
    • Program Directors;
    • PMO Manager.

Thus informing all levels of management, of the overall progress, achievements and concerns within the portfolio.
