Lead - Project Control, Zakhem, Escravos River Crossing Gas Pipeline project - HDD (1.8km), Onshore (24"x2.5km)

  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting project performance.
  • Collate and prepare, check and control weekly and monthly project progress reports.
  • Inter phase with other project team members in other to facilitate and measure project status. Collating inputs of performance from HSE, project requirements implementation, quality assurance/control activities and field audits is also one of key duties.
  • Involved in preparation of project related presentation for communication to key stakeholders
  • Prepare and report  key Performance Indicators (KPI) including:
  • Planned/Forecast/Actual Progress ‘S’ Curves (Earned Value Management System)
  • Schedule Performance Index (SPI)
  • Schedule Variance (SV)
  • Milestone counts
  • Man-hour status indicator.
    • Create Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activity list and network diagrams.
    • Estimate resource, time and costs requirements for project completion.
    • Determine project critical path.
    • Develop, update and revise detail resource loaded baseline level 4 schedule using Primavera or MS project software.
    • Estimate the time impact of the variation orders on the project time schedule and define the need for time extension.
    • Prepare project planning and control procedures in alignment with contract requirement.
    • Measure performance against the performance baseline and other metric determined by the project manager.
    • Create forecasts and what-if-scenarios’.
    • Keep record of project loss time.
    • Supervise sub-contract services for the purpose of effective planning, control and scope close-out in order to achieve economical and timely completion as per contractual agreement.
    • Provide historical information to project team members.
