Senior Planner / Planning Manager

Producing, reviewing and implementing planning strategies and integrating multi-disciplined projects in a variety of live operational environments. Responsible for delivering projects whilst ensuring disruption to existing airport operations and facilities were kept to a minimum

Provision and maintenance of the Master Schedule

Developing robust programmes

Liaising with the designer, Client and project teams. Review and validate the work schedule against the programme to ensure overall efficiency of scheduling across all disciplines.

Work with the site team to innovate and achieve optimum solutions

Undertake detailed logistics and traffic management planning to ensure site safety, minimise disruption to site and reduce programme costs.

Chair collaborative planning meetings with statutory undertakers to ensure all parties understand key programme constraints and that key milestones can be achieved.

Incorporating change events into programmes to help secure full entitlement under the contract.

Communicating the plan to all major stakeholders through phase drawings, bar charts, histograms, schedules etc.

Providing detailed support and assistance to the project in order to enable the team to monitor pinch-points on the critical path and by utilising LEAN planning techniques to interrogate the baseline programme or mitigate potential delays in alliance with the supply chain and key stakeholders.

Providing a means of indicating deviation from the baseline programme.
