Lead Planning Engineer
Team Management of 18 Planning Engineers involved in the Design and Manufacture of the Next Generation Pressure Water Nuclear Reactor that will power the new Dreadnought Class of Trident Submarines.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment, Management and Professional Development for a team of Planning Engineers with varied levels of experience, from Trainees through to Senior Planners.
- Conducting Schedule Reviews and reporting to Programme Directors and Commercial Management
- Integration of the Rolls Royce schedule with the Whole Boat Programme via the Integrated Project Management Team based at the ship yard in Barrow-in-Furness
- Baseline control and management of Baseline Change
- Schedule Health and Improvements using Acumen Fuse (14Point DCMA Metrics)
- Integration and Liaison with the MOD Nuclear Power Project Offices for matters relating to Programme Schedule.
