Project Control Manager, Shell, Onshore and Offshore Facilities and major Pipelines for Oil, NAG and LNG to Port terminals
Responsible for managing the project/s Project Control department on a day to day basis. Development of timescales and associated deliverables as well as effectively managing a team of Planners/Costing engineers, technical assistants. Responsible for compilation of Weekly and Monthly reports on progress, cost and highlights, achievements, concerns, mitigations, Look ahead also producing Top project one pager reports for clients/Owners/Shareholders. Manage overall Costs and direct involvement in developing Level 1 to 6 Cost Breakdown structures. Compile Overall Cost report and manage VOWD (Value of Work done), based on physical progress and agree with engineering disciplines to pay and agree actual costs to be paid out. Check cost input into SAP. Responsibility includes agreeing commitments on monthly basis with Contractors and clients. Responsible for the planning of commitments to come and trending till end of project phase.
Development of Project systems, Project procedures and processes including including setting up Work Breakdown systems (WBS). Develop the Master Programme with Lead planners and oversee the creation of an integrated hierarchy for projects. Partake in Risk Management reviews, analyzing risks associated with projects, critical path monitoring and partaking in monthly, quarterly Per (Project Engineering review) and Change management in relation to Variations/trends. Creation of S-Curves/Spreadsheets using weighted methods and also weighted criteria. Auditing and the Tracking of progress of projects and monitor interface between inter disciplines. (S-Curves and spreadsheets). Maintain awareness of key resources available within the industry and advise on the financial implications and timing this may have on the delivery programme.
