Minenco is a wholly owned by CRA, its core activities are the evaluation, design and construction of resource based projects from the initial study to the hand over of a completed project to the client. Developing an Underground Mining Database and mining estimates for a number of projects including Century and Dugald River lead-silver-zinc mines in Queensland, upgrade work for Kaltim Prima Coal and Kelian Gold, order of magnitude estimates for a number of capital and operating studies including Gag Island open cut mine and port, Tight Oil open cut/dredging operation, two slurry pipelines and Far South East Gold mine in PNG. Planning and scheduling the design and construction schedule for the Lihir Gold Mine proposal and other major construction projects including Century and Dugald River. Setting up of cost accounting and project cost control systems for Minenco clients. The review of micro based planning, estimating and cost engineering packages in order to identify those that may be suitable for Minenco's use. Responsible for the estimating, accounting, cost engineering and planning of mine upgrade projects to a value of $180 million including a decline, ventilation shafts, haulage shaft, refrigeration plant and ore handling systems.  As Special Projects Engineer responsible for the supervision of civil construction activities and development of special projects introducing new technology into the mine. Including the development of a shotcrete system, the design of roller compacted concrete surface for the decline, research of a raisebore chip pumping system and design and project management of a surface refrigeration plant.
