Functional Responsibilities
As a Budget & Cost Engineer
Carry out analysis of budget variances and issue variance reports to the Department Manager and Section Heads.- (5 to 8 hours/week)
Issuing timely cost reports together with trending and forecasting to enable proactive financial controls to be applied by Department Manager and Section Heads.- 5% of working hours
Ensure correct posting of cost against the operating and capital budget account numbers by monitoring all maintenance expenditure & Coordinate the audit plan for the department and follow up recommendation for implementation - time to time for the different cost centers and cost control parameters

Project Controls Specialist (PCO) is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities on allocated projects, as well as the legitimacy of the work assignments for allocated projects & personnel.
