SITE – MECHANICAL / PLANNING ENGINEER

Project:AQABA SOUTH PETROLEUM INSTALLATION PROJECT - AQABA, JORDAN. Petroleum products loading/unloading and storage facilities mainly consisting of:
2 pcs. 30,000 cb.m. capacity each Crude Oil storage tanks (floating roof type), 2 pcs. 20,000 cb.m. capacity each Gasoline and Kerosene  storage tanks (floating roof type), 2 pcs. 20,000 cb.m. capacity each Diesel storage tanks (cone roof type), 2 pcs. 20,000 cb.m. capacity each Fuel Oil storage tanks (cone roof type), 2 pcs. 3,000 cb.m. capacity each LPG Spherical Tanks, 3 km long above ground Pipe Rack (lines: 3x18", 14", 10", 4", 3", 2"), more than 10 km  of underground piping ND 32", 28", 24", 20", 16", products transfer Pump House, Booster Pump House, Fire Fighting Pump House, marine Loading/Unloading Arms, Truck Loading Arms, Oil-Water Separation Plant, Fire Fighting facilities including 5,000 cb.m. capacity Water Tank, Steam Generating Plant, Control Room, UPS, etc.

Responsibilities:

Construction progress monitoring and updating for of the entire project – using PRIMAVERA PROJECT PLANNER. Permanently coordinating between different disciplines interfaces (C.W., mechanical, electrical and instrumentation), taking corrective measures and issue recovery plans when deviations from base-line schedule occurred.
Closely monitoring some of the mechanical erection activities for fabrication / construction processes, technologies, productivities, correct sequences, etc., including but not limited to: above ground and underground piping erection, atmospheric storage tanks and fire fighting facilities erection, petroleum products and fire-fighting pumps, booster pumps, oily-water separator, etc.

Issuing weekly and monthly progress reports.

Achievements:

Maintaining a permanent liaison with the beneficiary - JOPETROL's representatives - and organizing, to their complete satisfaction, daily coordination meetings during which were presented details / analysis / site reports / corrective measures, etc.
