CONSTRUCTION/PLANNING ENGINEER at AKSHABULAK, KAZAKHSTAN

Project: OIL-GAS SEPARATION PLANT mainly consisting of: Manifold, Separator Vessel, Scrubber Vessel, Heat Exchangers, Oil Storage Tanks, Pipe Rack, Flare System, Transfer Pump Houses, Booster Pump House, Pig Launcher and Pig Receiver skids, Diesel Generator Sets and Diesel Storage tanks, Water Treatment Plant, Air Compressors, PLC, Fire Fighting facilities and Water Storage Tanks, etc.
Client: RWE-DEA (GERMANY).

Responsibilities:

Supervising, coordinating and controlling the subcontractors’ activities for construction, testing and commissioning of the Akshabulak Oil-Gas Separation Plant.

Organizing and supervising the on site activities as to observe the original planning.

Taking corrective measures, when deviations form base-line schedule occurred, permanently coordinating between different specialties and subcontractors (C.W., mechanical, E&I).
Monitoring the expenditure, assuring the budget was not overrun.
Maintaining a permanent liaison with the beneficiary of the contract, issuing Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
Achievements:

Supervising and coordinating between the Romanian employees and local sub-contractors, during the various construction phases, testing and commissioning of the Oil-Gas Separation Plant.
The plant has been successfully commissioned and is operational since Nov. 1999, within the contractual term.
