- Coordination of the planning and the inspection on the Samarco maintenance engineering department
- Coordination of the maintenance routine weekly planning as well as planning of great investments (shutdowns, projects, improvements).
- Implantation and elaboration of plans and controls of maintenance using concepts of PPCM (Planning, Scheduling, Control of Maintenance) and SAP.
- Planning general coordinator of small and great shutdowns in the plants of pelleting of iron ore and shutdowns in the yard port area, using the methodology of PMI (Project Management Institute) and of IPA (Independent Project Analysis).
- Implantation of methodology TFEL (Turnaround Front-End Loading) of IPA in the shutdowns management in pelleting plant
- Elaboration of the Samarco maintenance management manual, with four great processes: inspection, planning, scheduling and execution, and the support’s processes: projects engineering, reliability engineering, materials engineering, contract management and maintenance shift
- Definition of structure of SAP to attend the maintenance necessities: materials lists, job centers, taxonomy of the locals of installation, notes and orders of maintenance (general orders), purchase order.
- Accompaniment and control of the indicators of the maintenance through a developed Scorecard – BSC
- Participation in projects using the Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen methodology.
- Elaboration of annual budget of the maintenance contemplating the expenses and projects.
- Control of costs of the expenses of the shutdowns (plant and yard port)
- Coordination of the monthly meetings of performance of the department of the maintenance engineering and the maintenance management
- Definition of structure of the plans of inspection (sensitive and predictive) with determination of routes
- Participation in the project of search of the world-wide excellency of the maintenance
- Integrated planning of the Maintenance with Sales, Production, Marketing, Suppliments reaching the necessities of all the internal customers and promoting one better synergy between the departments
