Senior Planning Consultant, part of the Programme Assurance and Project Controls Team for National Grid’s Integrated Security Solution portfolio of projects. In charge of all the Gas Distribution ISS projects. Responsibilities include maintain and update plan during the design phase. Evaluate Construction plan submitted by contractors during tender. Liaise with contractors and site team during construction to check and assure the submitted monthly updates.

• Update and maintain allocated schemes monthly.
• Liaise with Management Stakeholders i.e., Development Engineers and Project Engineers to identify any risk for the schemes before Contract Award.
• Create Cost Profile Spread for all ISS Schemes and issue in a format specific for Finance Team’s requirement.
• Converted Milestone and Cost Report (Excel) to a more user-friendly and dynamic version by adding Macros/VBA codes.
• Validate Tender plans from contractors. Identify possible issues, risks within the submitted plans, including all deviation from Approved Project Controls principles.
• Coordinate between contractors and other NG stakeholders to accommodate, achieve all contractual requirements and mitigate possible delays.
• Assist Project Engineers and Managers to identify and raise Early Warnings Notices.
• Coordinate with contractors to incorporate all agreed Change Events in the plan and to maintain a baseline register to keep track of the changes.
