Summary of my responsibilities are:

·       Construct and manage detailed planning schedules, utilizing Primavera or Microsoft Project software, that represent activities required to successfully deliver key project / scheme milestones for Power Generation systems;

·       Ensure all plans are fully logic linked and represent the correct sequence of events, as well as developing recovery programmes and contingency plans to meet changed objectives;

·       Cost & resource load schedules and ensure they reflect accurate project phasing;

·       Maintain regular progress reviews and updates, with the appropriate project (s) stakeholders to ensure robust tracking of key activities and milestones. Highlight key milestones and critical path issues to the team;

·       Production of S-curves and Histograms for monitoring progress and reporting of deviations from plan;

·       Reporting in accordance with client requirements and advice on corrective action to recover deviations from plan, as appropriate;

·       Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly gateway planning / progress reports. Measure and report against key performance indicators (KPI’s);

·       Monitor and audit contractor’s plans;

·       Responsible for sketching and checking P&IDs and PFDs in liaison with the senior mechanical engineer and draftsmen;

·       Create innovative designs, find optimal configuration and design parameters of combined cycle’s heat and mass balance, system performance, and component sizing using GT PRO;

·       Attend weekly, monthly and quarterly review meetings with project team / client to discuss long, medium and short-term plans and progress.
