June, 2014 - Lead, coordinate and manage the delivery of the Annual Work Program (AWP) within the Maintenance Directorate, focusing on achieving safe and cost effective performance, timely project deliveries and reliability objectives of the asset and business.
- Manage possession strategy and planning to coordinate effective delivery of the AWP, external party, and major capital upgrading and development projects.
- Liaise with Level 1 and Major Works Divisions and external agencies to develop program schedules to optimize AWP.
- Develop reporting processes and monitor delivery of the Directorates AWP to ensure effective progress reporting, also compiles a number of executive reports in relation to possession utilization, maintenance productivity and major commissioning time lines.
- Monitor compliance of possession and project work in accordance with Network Rules and Safety Management System.
- Allocation of critical resources such as design, construction and long lead materials to meet project milestones and manages the change in delivery time frames with available resources.
- Manage, supervise and coach a team of 5 staff members, overseeing work completed, building the skills required to develop internal expertise and ensuring that staff are adequately resourced to perform.
- Consistently deliver efficiency and set a platform for increased commerciality.
- Independent decision making of the Maintenance Annual Works Program Scheduling.
- Optimizing the AWP given the range of delivery schedules, projects, programs, proposals and the range of stakeholders involved.
- Supporting transformational change given the range of internal and external stakeholders, the potential resistance to change and the need for both structural and cultural change.
