Work/Skills:                                                                     

 

  • To produce a fully WBS, resource & cost loaded programme to monitor progress of the plan and make necessary changes as required, agreeing activity budget values with cost manager.
  • Report actual performance and variance against plan and forecast outcomes. Highlight key milestones and critical path issues to members of the team, provide an assessment on weekly basis of the impact of such issues and recommend solutions to take proactive actions against the critical situation.
  • Monitor and audit contractor plans, monitor contractors planning processes so that they comply with client’s rail procedure requirements.
  • To analyse trends and identify issues which have the potential to affect progress and cause delays. Developing graph (S-Curve) showing forecasted turnover comparison with actual costs (EVA) ensuring agreed performance and other K.P.I.’s are met, also that the project team understand and agree with the EVA output and sign off the EVA before submission to client’s MPD.
  • To produce fully cost  and resource loaded programme to reflect Cost Performance Indicator (CPI) & Schedule performance Indicators (SPI) / Budgeted total cost / At completion total cost / remaining total cost / earned value cost / planned value total cost and risk management , as part of an integrated Earned value management (EVM) team.
  • To arrange and organise weekly/monthly meetings with stake holders regarding project update, performance and progress in terms of cost, time & other risks.
  • To produce and submit regular period reporting as per the client’s reporting cycle.
  • Interfacing with other key disciplines: Cost Manager, Risk Manager, Engineering Maintenance (Asset Performance) and lead Planner.
  • Ensuring correct resources are identified in the P3e/c schedule to support client’s enterprise resource planning activities; in particular client’s supplied resource.
  • Developing and maintaining a P3e/c schedule for the project and ensuring that MPD is properly updated.
  • Liaising with the project team, including the contractors/suppliers and other stake holders
