Haitham is a Civil Engineer with experience in planning and project controls as a main contractor and consultant, providing planning, project and programme management, delay and disruption analysis and claims management services. Haitham has claims experience in Middle East and Africa and has worked on a number of civil engineering, heavy industry, building, oil & gas and offshore disputes.

 Haitham has been awarded with the Legal Experience Training Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (LETAPAEWE). The award is accredited by Edexcel at a level 7 (Masters level) BTEC. Haitham was appointed as a Delay Expert (Expert Witness) in arbitration on a dispute regarding valuation of extension of time entitlement and enforceability of liquidated damages, providing expert written and oral evidence to the arbitral panel and examined by counsel.  Haitham is familiar with most current standard forms of Contract and is adept with all forms of planning software including Primavera Project Planner (P3), Primavera P6/P3e, Microsoft Project and Claim Digger. In addition to holding a BEng in Civil Engineering, Haitham holds an MSc degree in Quantity Surveying from Heriot-Watt University, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an Incorporated Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, a Member of the Society of Construction Law; and currently pursuing an LLM degree in Construction Law and Arbitration at Robert Gordon University. Specialties: project planning & control, delay analysis, disruption analysis, forensic planning, expert witness
