An energy from waste programme to upgrade an existing civic household recycling facility and to build a new gasification and anaerobic digestion facilities, new visitors centre with supporting infrastructure and legacy outbuildings.  The programme has to be sympathetic to the clients’ ongoing operational requirements.  The project includes demolition, ground work, piling, industrial construction and office fit out.  This role is client facing and main responsibilities include:

• Bid to construction programme conversion;
• Site logistics and phasing;
• Internal and external reporting; 
• Sub-contractor tender negotiations;
• Programme monitoring and updates using Primavera v8.3; 
• Monthly internal and external reporting;
• Project risk and issue management;

Key Achievements

• Roll of out integrated Enterprise Primavera v8.3 system to the planning community;
• Production of group planning protocols and methodology;
• Introduction of tender bid stage planning templates;
• Consolidated the group programme reporting function;
• Promotion from Planning Manager to Sector Planning Manager (December 2014);
