PIPEMILL PRODUCTION / PLANNING ENGINEER

Responsible to Lead Pipemill Engineer, as part of a Production Team, for 2 Pipemills and Pilerack Fabrication Facilities, and to provide all relevant information from client drawings and specifications necessary to carry out Tubular Assembly for use in the fabrication of offshore oil and gas structures.  Many of these activities are subject to the pressure of providing the most economic method and sequencing of events, which were normally subject to tight time schedules.

PLANNING ENGINEER

Responsible to the Senior Engineer for the overall Planning of the above Elf project, using Artemis 6000.  This was usually subject to tight time constraints to produce networks for the CMS (Construction Master Schedule) and the overall project planning packages. This often required the development of information processing systems such as progress monitoring routines and report specifications.

Duties also included liaison with Subcontractors and meeting with Client and Production Management regarding progress and planning related matters.

PLANNING ENGINEER (Trainee)

Duties involved input of data to update project database.  Developing and producing minor detail work schedules.  Collecting, inputting, processing and issue of weekly progress and manpower expenditure reports.
