Employed in the company as Manager of the Planning & Cost Control Department for Alfanar Building Co., Alfanar Building company is one of Alfanar group companies which is specialist in civil work. Alfanar group is one of the biggest 100 Saudi Arabia companies in 2007.

Duties include:

-       Responsible to establish the entire system for the planning dep. Of Alfanar Building Co. with fixing a cost control system for the company projects (250 million SR annual revenue) considering that it has to be matched with the mother Co. systems (finance, purchase, resources,…etc) and on the same time effective to cover the big amount of the company projects and flexible to suite the company rapid expanding.

-       Set-up a planning team work and training the new engineers to the planning system.

-       Develop and analyze the Projects Income Statement and prepare the Sensitivity Analysis for management.

-       Assist in establishing projects Work Breakdown Structure.

-       Work with Estimating Group to develop definitive cost estimate, and coordinate estimate development with the Projects Estimator.

-       Participate in the provision of the following Project Controls deliverables: Change order and Trend Reports, preparation of estimates for extra work, billing preparation.

-       Set-up the projects status analytical reports (time & cost) bi-weekly or weekly for the projects management, and recommend solutions or recovery plans to schedule/cost impact or delays.

-       Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicates the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans as well as provide Status of Reserves and Contingencies to management during the company ORM (operation review meeting) presentation each year quarter.

-       Set-up the company yearly strategical plan and preparing the company plan review presentation for the top management each year quarter to measure the company performance.

-       Study and analyze the company yearly budget and resources allocation & requirments.

-       Make development plan for planning dep. System and arranging for the relevant training courses to improve the planning dep. Performance.

-       Assist in preparing the development plans for the other departments in the company and offering the necessary consultations for the performance reviewing.

-       Provide meaningful and accurate historical projects data to be added to the “Lesson Learned” database.
