Position: Procurement planner and controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying sequence of issuing different requisition from engineering department as per their predecessors.
- Preparing list of requisitions as per engineering department’s activity lists.
- Preparing initial schedule for procurement section as per contract time limitation, engineering and construction constraints.
- Establishing cost control system for procurement section as per project budget and costs.
- Preparing vendor expediting procedure and progress measurement procedure.
- Monitoring and controlling project schedule for avoiding delay in project.
- Preparing procurement expediting spreadsheet in coordination of procurement team for online monitoring of procurement activities and improving efficiency.
- Preparing various range of periodical procurement status reports for project manager and Client.
- Visiting vendor’s shop , checking vendor’s reports and finding vendor problems and expediting problems with other parties.
