Project Management Higher Apprentice , National Grid, Sundon Network Rail connection

September, 2016 I am an apprentice working in the Project Controls team at National Grid. My programme started in September 2016 and finishes in September 2018. During my apprenticeship I will spend time with all of the teams within Project Controls:
- Estimating
- Planning
- Cost Engineering
- Risk Engineering
- Reporting
- Change team and workbook
I will be on a placement for 3 months in each team and get the experience of the processes, tools and methods used within each team and get to work on genuine National Grid construction projects. Alongside the day to day work I have completed my Level 4 APM Project Management Qualification, which has helepd me understand the fundamentals of project management.
