Prime responsibility for all local retail, mall and shopping center, office and restaurant construction.   Maintained separate budget, reporting directly to Vice President of Finance.  Expanded client base by marketing to Architects, resulting in more negotiated work, including offices built directly for Architect clients.  Improved market share of new building construction, a segment of the market not successfully pursued in the past by HBC.  Started computerized Critical Path Scheduling using Activity-on-Node scheduling system, generating networks by hand. Coordinated all field work, supervised estimator and scheduling staff, field superintendents and project managers.
