Punja Project

Sonangol intends to develop the Punja Oil Field, located offshore Angola in Block 3-05A. This field is located approximately 20 Km from the Angolan coast and is located in 80 m of water.  Production facilities include two remote wellhead platforms (namely PUN-F1 and PUN-F2). They are connected with a multiphase production flowline from PUN-F2 to PUN-F1 plus a gas injection flowline from PUN-F1 to PUN-F2. An early production system (EPS) is bridge linked to PUN-F1.  Finally, a multiphase / oil export pipeline from PUN-F1 is tied back to the existing PALANCA facilities (about 4.0km). Produced oil will be stored and exported via existing PALANCA Terminal. Each wellhead is designed with 12 drillable slots for production wells and gas injection wells.

 

The scope of work being bid by KBR to Subsea 7 is for the following facilities.  KBR will perform complete detailed engineering and procurement services.  Follow-on engineering support services during Fabrication, Installation, Commissioning and Startup are also part of the scope.
