Business Development Manager / Project Controls Manager, Turner, new blaise diagne international airport
Direct responsibility for the development of the master schedule for the project and in particular the development and monitoring of critical milestone schedules.
Identification of all critical actions required by other parties in order to maintain schedule requirements such as that of the Owner, Consultant, Governing Bodies, Utility Companies, and bringing related issues to the attention of the management. Also related follow-up.
Coordinate the establishment and updating of submittal and procurement logs, and provide periodic reports to the project field staff.
Development of special schedules required for the testing, commissioning, and handover of the airport facilities in coordination with the Owner agencies.
Monitor construction progress and assist in the preparation of recovery plans to address delays.
Review the development of project information and fact sheets and graphical presentation materials in coordination with the construction group.
Oversee the preparation Daily Reports by the Assistant Planning Engineer and follow up of the information required.
Preparation of weekly progress reports for presentation during the progress meetings as well as submission to the Project Director.
Keep the Project Managers, and senior managers advised of critical requirements for the project and potential slippages.
Be familiar with all the physical aspects of the Project (Drawings, Specifications and quantities of work in each area / buildings).
Visit the site at least once a week to be kept up to date of Project Progress.
Prepare presentations on the project as requested by the management
Preparing baseline schedule for the projects.
Preparing monthly updated schedule with actual dates according to the work done on site.
Coordinating between trades to finalize the job.
Preparing project budget and ensures strict cost control.
Implementing time schedules to ensure the right progress of all projects in accordance with the contract requirements and period.
